I knew I liked science during GCSE, but during A-level is when I really realised it was my passion so I decided to study science at university. At university it became clear to me that science would be my career because I never felt satisfied, I always wanted to know more!

Probably not actually until the 3rd year of uni. I didn’t really know what I wanted to do but spent the 3rd year of my degree in a lab as a placement year and never looked back! It’s ok to not know what you want to do for a job in the future while still at school!

I was about 15. My mum tells me I came home from school one day and announced that I was going to be a scientist and do research. I had just dissected a kidney!

Like Livia, I realised during my final year science project during my degree.
