Both! You can probably see this on a daily basis… somethings that happen at school might stress you out but not your friend OR it might stress you friend out more than it stress you out… different things stress different people and the same thing can stress people to different amounts
People get stressed by different things, so something that stresses you out might not even bother your friends or others in your family.
But sometimes, the same thing(s) stress lots of people – exams are a really good example of this. Lots of people get worried about them! Sometimes the stress feels worse if it goes on and on and doesn’t go away or when people are really tired.
That’s the tricky thing about the science of stress – the way we respond depends on what’s actually happening to us.
