• Question: do people get more stressed at work ?

      It’s not true that people are always more stressed at work than in other places. Most jobs will have stressful times, where there are a lot of deadlines or the pressure is a bit higher than usual. It is natural to feel stressed in times like these and can even be helpful, because our bodies release a hormone called ‘cortisol’, to help. This makes us feel more alert, so that we can work through the high-pressure times.

      I think that depends on the person and what they find stressful.

      interesting question. people can sometimes feel stressed in their work, just like Kristi says.

      However, the research shows that it’s actually better for health and self esteem to be in work and to have a job that feels worthily. people who are unemployed are often more stressed than those who have jobs.
